WARRANTY INFORMATION
Metal Building Warranty
Your building is covered under a Limited Structural Warranty for the duration of your ownership. This warranty is applicable solely to the structural components of the building. Roofing, siding panels, and screws are manufactured by third parties and are exclusively covered under their respective manufacturer warranties.
Standard Limited Warranty
1-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty
The building is covered under a one-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion. This warranty covers any defects or issues arising from poor workmanship.
10-Year Limited Rust-Through Warranty on 14-gauge framing
The structural framing of the building is covered under a ten-year warranty. This warranty protects against any defects in materials or workmanship related to the framing.
20-Year Limited Rust-Through Warranty on 29 & 26-gauge roof and wall panels
The roofing and wall siding are covered under a twenty-year warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship affecting the roofing and siding.
Roofing Styles Covered
- Vertical Roof Style – Any length
- Regular Style – Up to 31 ft. long
- Boxed Eave Style – Up to 31 ft. long
Minor items (such as rusty screws) will be supplied to the dealer for homeowner pickup and replacement.
Exclusions
This Limited Structural Warranty is not available in coastal areas or flood zones and does not extend to the following circumstances:
- Damage resulting from chemical agents, fumes, liquids, or solids other than direct rainfall.
- Contact with soil, ashes, fertilizers, or other moisture-retaining substances.
- Failure to remove debris or to provide adequate drainage of water, including condensation within the building.
- Deterioration of sheeting due to contact with green or wet timber, or treated pine.
- Installations exposed to unusually corrosive environments at any time.
- Damage caused by storms, tempests, or other acts of God.
- Damage inflicted by the homeowner, occupants, or third parties (such damage should be addressed through insurance, not warranty).
Warranty Void Conditions
All warranties and certifications shall be rendered void if the buyer or owner makes any alterations to the unit.
Maintenance Requirements
- Maintenance records must be meticulously documented.
- Painted surfaces are to be washed annually using a mild detergent (e.g., Dawn dish soap).
- Bleach or harsh chemicals are strictly prohibited.
Additional Exclusions
- Fading and color changes are not covered in southern states.
- The standard warranty is not applicable in coastal areas or flood zones.
